Is there a max that you can earn on your PvP reward track in a day? I have played about 25 matches today, and my progress has come to a halt.

I hit Tier 3 rewards, and that’s where I have stopped.

I played 3 different matches to confirm (all on the same room I have been all day) and one on a different character to see if there was just some odd glitch.

If they limited it, that is amazingly lame.

Same issue here. It’d be great to have confirmation one way or another.

have you guys tried out solo / team arena and encountered the same issue?

i read that some mentioned that it could have some daily limit for custom arenas.

hopefully justin can come and explain it to us.

Yeah, it looks like I can still progress in solo queue. I guess it’s just a hotjoin limit.

Still, though- Can’t say I’m a fan of being forced into tournies to actually get more than 10 tiers a day. Forced into meta builds to get anywhere at all; no thanks.

They had two engis, we had none. I think we all know how that dance goes.

And yes, you will be able to finish it; I don’t see why choking it like this is even a thing, though, seeing as you can just unlock the track permanently by completing the dungeon. For other tracks, it’ll just be completely pointless.

I’m guessing that the limit is 10 segments in hotjoin a day, not a limit after which you need to be doing arena. If it is that limit, then that’s even worse. I somewhat get the feeling that it’s going to end up in degenerate behaviour in solo queue, up to and including people afking.

Also, in case ANet is reading; You know what would be super neat? telling us these things in the patch notes.

Yes 8 tiers and the limit is 25% on hotjoin.
If I find a limit on solo I’ll let you guys know.

thanks, ive been worried, and of course when i actually ask this kind of thing in game i either get no response or people tell me its bugged. as stated before, itd be nice to see some info about this before hand, this is genuinely the ONLY page i could find online relating to the issue, ridiculous

Hotjoin matches are capped, if you want to keep progressing through reward tracks, you gotta do SoloQ or TeamQ.
