I just wanted to post this thread to tell the people who designed the new PvP map (Skyhammer), it’s the best map, not to mention funnest PvP map I have ever played on. The scenery is outstanding, and the dynamic events are extraordinary, and fun.

If you use spectral walk you can also explore under the map apparently. lol

I came back to this game to try out this map and I’ll be sticking around for a bit because of it. Rocket Boots + Skyhammer = most fun I’ve had in this game in a while.

From Warrior POV, it’s the bestest map! In addition to chill, cripple and immobilizes, ranged classes can now also use 5000 vantage points to kite me. Finally some challenge, yay!

Best map for hot join not tpvp. Love playing it in hot join but not tpvp its to serious

i got on last night to do PvP daily, and bam, second map was Skyhammer.
it was so much fun. apart from being a new map, the mechanics were interesting. still a lot to explore! definitely bring stability. and knockbacks or pulls if you have ’em ; ))

the laser was fun too, though i’ll be honest, took me a bit of time to figure it out.. lol. i think it can be dodged, though timing is still tricky for me at the moment. only played the map once. defs can’t be blocked though lol.

i guess it was still new, so the holes inthe ground weren’t really a problem yet, but i can foresee once people get familiar with the map… engi pulls, knock backs, thieves, mesmers will have fun times. :OOO
