Hey Griddle Wars I’m new to PvP and have been getting… whooped. I thought I might come here for some advice on what to do! So please help.

The best thing you can do is delete the thief and create a ranger . Or just remove this game .

Thief is really squishy and dies fast. This class is used for strategical reasons in tournaments to decap points or outnumber enemies and finish them off. In an organized tournament environment ranger is probably the worst class, so that is not a good advice at all.

Since you are new to pvp you should start with a class that doesnt die on the first mistake. I´d suggest ele warrior or engi. They provide the best durability in fights and are solid 1v1.

If you want to stick to thief make sure you run a correct build. The builds provided by default are really bad and harm new players.

Thief is actually easiest zerker, if you know how to play a zerker.
you can start playing gs zerker war or zerker engi, or zerker mesmer.
after a while, go back to your thief, you will find it so easy.

A dude name Sizer streams on twitch fairly often. He’s a very good thief and shows 1v1 duels and 5v5 pvp. I’d suggest watching him for a little while.
