New Tpvp rating system is uninspiring
That’s the problem when premade loose against soloQ, they loose the same amount of rating they’d loose if the soloQ-team was a premade. So ye, soloQ is something not rewarding at all. It is frustrating and progression is just possible to a certain degree, till premades coming to stomp you back into the end of the leaderboard.
But we all know how broken the reward-system is . . .
indeed, since matchmaking puts you against premade much lower than yourself (and you often end up with lower ranked team mates as well), you’re gonna lose more points than what you would gain by winning…it should at least be balanced :S

If i solo queue i always get well organised premade teams at or past rating 96% :/ . Than i lost 1 and win 2 and am still at 96% x.x or on very bad day i can also loose around 6 games in a row cuz we always get well organised premade teams x.x .
Think of its the other way around. With the old leaderboard,let say you are at 96% and you soloQ, you lose to a team that has lv1 in there.Go check your leaderboard after the match, you cry out loud. Your rank drop to 80% after just 1 single match. You happy??I certainly not.

The leaderboard definitely improved, especially in terms of the stability of player rankings. Anyway, the problem is not the leaderboards. It’s more about the MMR that has still space to improve.

As well as the lack of population, lack of dedicated goals by Anet, lack of feedback by devs, lack of balance.
