That nobody uses because
a) 25 skill points is BS when you could turn that into gold.
b) The heal is terrible. It’s pretty much a consume conditions with a 30 sec cd and lower health return. It’s really bad.
What happened..it didn’t happen. I’m currently sitting here checking out forums whilst AFK in spvp hotjoin..when i got the thief that black powder/leap 7 times..i knew no new skills are ever gonna fix stuff like that.
saving my skill points. still waiting to hear about this promised horizontal progression.

Meh, with balance issues and what not with incorporating new skills and traits, I would much rather them fix the current issues with traits and skills such as bugs or turning useless skills into useful ones.

Asking where they are is not entirely related to the traits themselves, but more about the progression they were to represent. Currently there isn’t any form of progression and this was to fill that void.

You have to realize how Anet works.
When they try to sit down and work out the details of ‘fixing’ things they only end up making everything worse.
GW1 got worse as Anet got more and more involved in fixing the meta.
GW2 is Anet’s attempt at fixing GW1.
At best they can spam content and abilities, just by by playing the odds, they will make something good at some point.
They need to just scrap their entire playtesting devision and toss things into the game and base success on player reaction…
Weekly updates with notable changes where players largely steering where the game is going… that will bring back thousands of people.

From what I’ve seen they can’t sit down with content and come up with great ways to make it more fun.
They can try to balance it, and it will usually end more balanced… but nearly never more fun.

I just assumed they were going to make new Utility skills that would fill in the gaps that the current skills/traits lacked. It’s hard to change existing skills without there being an enormous amount of wining and player backlash.

so far you are missing 5 of the 8 classes (of the elementalist has it water but still).
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

Apparently I was wrong. Allies are only healed for 500 for each condition removed. It’s terrible.

I wouldn’t mind some new master and grandmaster traits. They’re currently a bit restricting due to how few of them exist.
Other than that, I’d be happier with complete revamps of boring/ weak traits.
