I was reading the new blog post and Anet mentioned there will be new skills and traits in WvW and PvE. Will this addition to the game come to PvP?

“The addition of new skills and traits on a regular basis will of course mean expanded variety of abilities, builds, and tactics in PvP as well. As these additional skills and traits are added, they’ll be automatically unlocked and available for competitive PvP just like all existing skills/traits work today.”

It should be interesting and refreshing to see how the added variety will impact the meta in Tpvp..

I would LOVE to see them add more weapon skills so you could maybe choose a weapon and at least replace one or two skills. I. WOULD. LOVE. IT!

that’s the plan for the rest of the year, they won’t be added then right away and judging by the wording, they won’t be adding them at once as well, it’ll be awesome to see what Anet brings to the table with the future patches!

Hopefully they bring shadow form back from gw1 <3

I’m still waiting for them to give other classes portal type skills. Mini asura gate for my engi plz

People want more diversity, this can provide it. It might come at the cost of balance, but look at GW1. It was actually unbalanced, but it felt balanced just because of the sheer number of possibilities.

Got an idea for Warrior utility:

White Banner: Gain 30 seconds of Swiftness and apply Fear to yourself – Flee distance 1500.

Heck ya! I’ve been hoping for that since day 1. I love my Greatsword on Guardian but always thought it was kinda silly to be spinning in place. I thought it would be cool to swap out certain weapon skills for others you prefer.
