After reading and listening to a few interviews it seems that new game modes aren’t a priority.

This is a big mistake, one of the major problems with sPVP is that it’s boring and the conquest game mode doesn’t have a lot of depth.

There isn’t any point in trying to fix the fundamental problems of sPVP(don’t get me wrong those need work) if sPVP isn’t fun.

I play sPVP a decent amount but the main reason I don’t do anymore and get bored very quickly is because simply conquest isn’t fun, nobody asked for conquest it was just forced upon us. Guild Wars 1 had many more fun game modes than GW2, some of those should be bought over and it should be a priority.

Agreed. More Game Modes PLease.

Team Deathmatch. – One of the most popular game modes from nearly every FPS game.

In WvW, i know guys that just runs around looking for a group to fight. But thats a whole different Story #GvG

I think the devs mentioned some place that they won’t be adding other game modes…

I would really like to see team deathmatch, 1v1, GvG and something like huttball from SW:TOR. Seriously, that game mode was awesome!

Conquest is starting to become a bit boring as it focuses on having bunkers defending, AoE on the node and lots of CC to keep people off it. Every match is pretty much the same, which makes it a bit boring..

We need 3v3 and 5v5 Deathmatches (fun now, for rating later)
Capture the Flag game modes
Access to dueling in the Mist and some where in PvE land (this would encourage players to go into the Mist to look for fights!)

Playing conquest over and over and over and over and I forget over again is like watching paint on the wall dry after a while.

Anet why are you holding back?

Craving for a sort of reverse-CTF/bombing run/touchdown mode.
