New to gw2 & pvp. Y Q time long?
i dont normally experience queues of 5 min + unless its just a pretty dead time slot. early in the day or late at night it’s not uncommon though.
This is how I see it, you’re on the lowest MMR rating, basically you’re in the same tier as bad players and other new players, which is fine, that’s normal for new people. However, that level of MMR has less people than the “average” tier, so longer queues. In the average tier, queue times are normally less than 2 minutes. Then there’s the high tier, etc. The average queue time is misinforming because it’s not accurate for low tier players and high tier players, who have longer queue times.
I’m not coming back, not that you care.

I’ve been only Q’ing alone. Does it go faster with a party?
Which one of the stats in the screenshot is my MMR?

making a party can force the system to put you in the higher mmr group if your team mates have higher mmr, but I’m not sure, you can try it…
mmr is not a visible stat, so you can’t see it anywhere…

But dont the leaderboards work differently to the MMR? I recall alot of topics in the forum about that and i somewhat come to the conclusion that they are not a good indicator for your MMR. But since i dont know for sure i could be wrong…

They are indeed a bad indicator, but it’s the only information Anet made available to us.

According to the Leaderboard I am 85%, 29pts, 24win 10loss 70.5% which means I am still in low tier? How can I become average and get fast Q time? Win more?
So MMR is not in this PVP Menu shown in my screenshot? Which means I have no clue what my MMR is and why Q times are long?
Leaderboard is not related to mmr AT ALL.
but yeah it seems like higher mmr players have really long q’s.
