Just got into a tPvP game with top 100 players after spending 2h total in sPvP across my account. Half of them had Legendary Champion titles (1200+ tPvP games WON), I have a maximum of 10 sPvP games played. Could you perhaps work a bit on your matchmaking algorithm?
Been preaching about this issue for a while now. Its really destructive for the entire pvp community to match newcomers with tournament level players.
Look at this screenshot for example. Within the same match youlll see a guy with 20 games played total and others who arent on the leaderboard even in the same game as Blue Berry and Ethernyah, top tier players that played in ESL tournaments etc.
The problem is that the system matches all ppl who are in queue at that very moment. If enough high ranked ppl are available they will get paired up. If not enough are available it will pick whoever else is in queue at that moment.
