man the game is a 1000x more fun now then prepatch..prepatch the game nerved into sheer boringness….cause children like the OP of this thread, let’s not go there again….ever

The burst meta is more fun than the old cele tanky meta. Only two major issues right now:

1. Mesmer is too strong
2. Ele still has too high of a damage to defense ratio

I’ve never seen a so fast and funny spvp than now.
Yes, sometimes I drop dead because I’ve not see that a mesmer make 3 clones and press F1, or why there’s a theif that point at my back with his big bad dagger (really bad people…)

Yes, Burn deal hig damage, the general dps is higher than before and you have to pay attention to everything that happen around you.
But, ehy, isn’t that a really funnt spvp?

Fast, active, destructive!
That’s the spvp that I want!

Maybe ArenaNet are going for more of a Counterstrike/FPS type of PvP?

With the power creep they appear to be going away from any sort of active defense and counter play and just going straight to whoever targets and fires first (and gets that head-shot) wins.

Maybe they are actually aiming for a negative TTL? They do seem to be planning to give Mesmers guns in the expansion. That will be good for Mesmers as they will be able to kill people faster and not have to actually wait for a full second before their opponents drop.
