Jon and Hamm both said this is a bug, so, really hoping this gets fixed sooner rather than later. Its way too frustrating to write off as minor.

So you have one elite that can put on cooldown all utility and elite of someone else, and still disable them for 10 second, and you really really thought it was working as intended?

And just like transformation removing pets, this is a bug that has been there since release and I don’t have hope to get it back anytime soon.

Well, luckily (what gives me hope) is that Hamm who is a big PVP Dev didn’t even know about it until I told him a few weeks ago, being that Moa kills all pets, and I doubt this is a big issue in pve, so I’m hoping that he’s just now seeing how much of an issue it is, that we’ll get some love soon. Its painful to have this happen to you, and makes me want to give up almost every time. Its more than a counter. It’s sad.

Frankly they tend to ignore the bug report post in the front page, and only put attention to new topics that indicate certain skill bug.
One good example is warrior’s traited volley bug (no -CD)
It’s been in bug report forever and they just fixed it when a guy post a topic about it, saying,
“Thank you for the report, we’ll fix it in next patch.” (half a month later actually)
We can tell that they’re completely out of staff for all of staff in the bug fix and testing team because they put too much resources in pve contents.

I already died to phantasm burst as necromancer. It only makes it worse that I lose my minions for 15 secs-40secs at the start giving me no utility skills as mm and no healing for 16-20 seconds.

I think, in this case, they should give Necromancer an elite skill which transforms the enemy in a little ambient Spider Hatchling (you know, the ones who gets 500k damage on any hit).

MOA is a dumb skill to begin with. They should just scrap it honestly and make something more interesting. Putting what is basically a 10s duration soft CC causing you to do laughable damage and be a sitting duck into the game is foolish. There is already plenty of CC available and no need for this garbage. It isn’t like Mesmer needs this ridiculous crutch to be viable either. It is just silly.
“Working as intended.” lol. Perhaps it would be ok if when you hit a Golem charge the opponent 6-0 skills all went on full CD automatically too. Gimme a break. Even if it was intended (which it clearly isn’t) its just dumb. I don’t want a bug fix on it. I want it to be deleted and replaced with something that is funtionally intelligent rather than an “I Win!” button. MOA poops on pretty much everyone, and the long recharge doesn’t make it a “good” skill. A completely skilless player can tell his team “Hey, Kill the BigBird.”, pop MOA, then laugh uproariously. The counter for it? There isn’t one. You can’t even run away anymore since the nerfed MOA #5. I guess mesmer’s weren’t strong enough yet. /facepalm
