Sad to say but this is true. There are no more teams playing in NA. Just pugs. I just hope EU does not suffer the same fate.

I saw that but that post specifically refers to only EU. You at least still have 4 teams queing. We atm have ZERO. Every tourney is filled with pugs

As a PUG, this is kinda nice. Without matchmaking, I waste less time on top teams.

However, as a someone who wants GW2 tPvP to grow, this makes me sad.

There’s so few teams now we recognize the teams that can beat us. Chances are if we don’t know them, they are bad/new. When you keep drawing the same few teams (especially at off-peak hours), I always wonder if it’s the bad matchmaking or if there really are only 3-4 groups playing.

Dude, it’s a casual video game. No one wanted premades anyways except kids who have nothing going on in their lives.

the thing is for Esports to be succesful there needs to be balance this game has none between classes some just roflstomp masses licking their keyboards while others have to play an orchestra on their keyboard just to scratch one target.

Naw, decent teams advertise for tryouts all the time. Most of them don’t really have time to “train” a newer player, so you have to be r40+, able to practice every day for 3-4 hours, able to fill any role asked of you, with top-tier experience in previous MMOs, a great person, humble, between the ages of 21 and 26, able to beat all 4 other team members in a duel, but still be willing to take advice/follow orders from them, without being able to give advice to them, and pass a grueling 24-hour marathon tryout, in which you’ll be playing on a 7-inch netbook.

But yeah, all the good teams died off. It’s weird.

(If this offends anyone, I’m deeply sorry. I’m not usually this sarcastic. I don’t even want to be on a top-tier team, I just find all the advertisement threads absolutely hilarious. To make it up to you, I’ll let you beat my pug 5v3 in round 1 frees any time.)
