Dear Anet,

Why should I give you money for xpac if it is going to go toward more BS like this meta?
This condi stacking and God tier Ele and Mes classes have made this game so miserable to play.
Additionally, you have the audacity to ask your players for money to make more of this?
These changes were made to promote more build diversity? Not much diversity when every other player is Mes or Ele running the same copy/paste they found off the internet.

You are too kitten the balance team. After 6 weeks of hard work figuring out how to balance the ele, they came up with the following. They heard the users and decided to buff ele.

•Ferocious Winds: Fixed an issue that caused this trait to contribute toughness to ferocity instead of precision as intended.
•Fresh Air: The internal cooldown for this trait has been correctly removed.

I still think either the ele balance person is on vacation or they are just trolling us at this point.

This is the best meta ever!

This is a cool meta (I also liked the cele meta), and today’s patch was a step in the right direction balance-wise. Mesmers are a lot more fragile now, especially to conditions (mantra fix ftw). If elementalist gets shaved a bit, that might be the best meta to date.

I think this was a half patch some of the employees wanted to poop out while they were hard at work on HOT. I think ele nerfs inc still.

Maybe I’m just too low tiered to see this, but in my experiences eles and mesmers have high enough of a skill cap that they just don’t seem so overwhelmingly broken.

Every now and then one who really knows his stuff will kick my teeth in, but when it’s only the best 5% of players, is it really so broken?

You know mesmers got nerfed today and eles may get a slight nerf in a couple weeks or so. More additional changes will probably be made to all classes in the future. Bugs have been getting fixed every couple of weeks. It takes time. Have patience.

looking at celestial eles since 1 year ago i can safely say they’re trolling….they keep nerfing everything else while the most broken spec in the game (Yeah celestial d/d had been the most broken spec since celestial amulet got buffed) still there facerolling everything on his path
