I got them last month and I’m getting laurels for sPvP dailies, but not for sPvP monthlies?

Did you complete your monthly PvE first. If so then you can only get one or the other.

you completed your PvE monthly before your sPvP monthly and already gotten +10 laurels from your completed PvE monthly.

If todays patch drops before monthly resets you might get a couple of hours of a window to double dip monthly again.

why would that happen? why would a patch reset their data?

I don’t know why, I’m not a programmer. I do know that it has happened at least twice before since laurels were part of the game, once for the first daily after and another time for the monthly. It could be fixed by now though.
