For example you have 0 wins 5 losses, and lost 1 ladderpoint for each loss. Shouldn’t your ladder point be at -5? So what if you won 5 times later and gain 1 ladderpoint for each win. Shouldn’t your ladderpoint be at 0?(coz you were -5 before) or would it ignore your first 5 losses and give you 5 ladderpoints?

For example we reverse the situation, you won 5 times straight first. You now have 5 ladder points. Then lost 5 times. So you’re back to 0 points now.

My point is both scenarios have 5 wins 5 losses but 1st scenario gives you 5 points coz you lost 5 times first and won later on. While the 2nd scenario leaves you at 0 points coz you won first and lost later.

Enlighten me pls.

there is a limit to how low your MMR can go (zero?).

so this sounds technically exploitable but it would have a maximum benefit of like 10 leaderboard points or something smallish. and you could have gotten those 10 points faster if you just won.

Lowest you can go is 0……you also don’t necessarily get -1 for loosing. You can get 0 points for loosing and you can also get +1 for loosing. It depends on what your odds of winning were. You could even get -2 for loosing.
