Now that there are pure healers...
what if we introduce the deep wound condition back into the game?

Condition. While suffering from this injury, your maximum Health is reduced by 20% and you receive less benefit from healing.
Concise description: Your maximum Health is reduced by 20% and you receive 20% less benefit from healing.
for gw2 format, it could be:
Deep Wound
“Maximum Health is reduced by 20%; heal potency decreased by 20% ; stacks duration.”
combo this together with poison and we get -53% healing received.
Please, don’t add extra skills/traits that are ‘must have’ to play…
Instead, introduce diminishing returns for healing that are based on player’s vitality. Which each heal, next incoming heal is reduced by a % amount. The more vitality you have, the more healing you can receive, before DR kicks in. Diminishing returns reset upon leaving combat.
Hmm. The more I think about it, the more I am thinking those changes could cascade into more unintended consequences.
Should probably play it safe and just tone down druids and DS eles. They’re clearly ridiculous.

Ele can get crushed 2v1. Druid has obvious heal animations, so if you can’t interrupt the big ones, drop a quick poison. Also, if you’re applying poison (let’s assume doom sigil) you won’t just be running the poison. Drop a damaging condition and the poison among a few others. If you’re lucky, their cleanse doesn’t touch the poison/DPS condi. If you’re semi-lucky, one will remain. If you’ve kittened off the rain gods, they’ll consistently cleanse those two.

Hambow was more of a soloQ hero tbh.
Druids pack better healing and similar CC, but nowhere near the same DPS. The counters people suggest are what is generally known to hamper their ability to crap out heals, but if you want to change the game for the better (and I totally agree that the current state isn’t anywhere near acceptable), suggest tweaks rather than outright nerfs.
If your entire team is running power based builds (hard to believe) simply focus him or outrotate to the point where you outnumber him and then focus him. Druid, like every other bunker build, is just a nuisance.

I so hate playing, nowadays 2 druid, 1 mesmer, 1 ele and that’s enough, we never win against them…. this is not pvp anymore! This is just kittened up..! I so hate playing..had 21 pips, and now 9 in ruby tier, because of this kitten….this is not healthy…. I want to vomit!
And if it stays like this, then nobody will ever again will reach diamond or legendary other way, only pure bunker and healer, in season 2 don’t even dream you will reach again that league…

Druid doesnt do much damage but the pets..espesially bristleback is just overkill. It also definitely has way more cc than hambow ever had.

Pure healers and bunkers (Druids and Chronomancer) was added for the new pve content (Raids). But now, they are OP in pvp. So, why don’t we just separate pvp skills/traits/ecc… from pve stuff? So we could balance the classes more easily.

I was playing power Reaper just now against an ele and druid, 1vs1, they were bunker/healers, and what u know, they have done more dmg to me, how the kitten is that possible? They overplayed me? When I got to 75% life force they were running like chickens with 5% health, and in 5 sec they had again 75% health…. and again, had to bring them 5%, or downed stat, then come the ranger or ele to help the downed member, I had to super fast or wooala, revived… they are very hard to kill, good mobility, good healing, good bunker, and f kittens sake good dmg?! WTFFFFF?
What if they added this cool condition that would reduce the effects of healing? They could call it poison or something like that. And since it’s a condition it can be removed instead of like… not being removable and not having counter play to it which would be like… dumb.
Druids and tempests are hardly the problem with this meta. It’s the god forsaken scrappers and revenants that can live for ages even with a marauder amulet. If people realized that a scrapper or revenant could make the most annoying bunkers in the game, the meta would kill the game.
This game needs more conditions, identical conditions, especially damaging conditions. No condition is unique now, almost all deal damage over time, lets add more, that will be fun for sure. Now you add another condition reducing heal, in next weeks that condition will also deal tick damage, so fun (chill, confusion).
Current meta have flaws but why do you even 1v1 bunker, srsly?
Bait the cleanse and break from CAF and then cc lock or condi spike them.
Stronghold.. 1vs1 is sometimes a must
