Just in case the dev’s need a little help:

First things first.

Mesmers — they need toned down so greatly, it’s not funny. When 60% of the opposing team is mesmers, it is very clear that there is a problem. Mesmers are worse than thieves when it comes to balance (which is saying a lot), and probably should never lose a 1v1 or 1v2 fight ever.

Thieves — still a push-one-button class. Some of them are starting to branch out and hit other buttons, but their reward is lessened when doing so. In fact when you are fighting a thief and you’re winning, he will panic, stealth, and spam his heartseeker button so hard. Then he wins. That’s not right. Haste – heartseeker spam, no one can live through this.

Guardians — I think everyone knows their survivability is too high even the devs.

Warrior — as much as I hate to admit, they need work too. I can’t remember the last time I died to a warrior in a 1v1 scenario.

Elementalists — Second weakest class in pvp.

Necromancers — Weakest class in pvp. There are so many threads with suggestions, I’m going to avoid that for now.

Downed State — It needs reworked to be fair or just removed entirely. If you are 1v1’ing a mesmer and manage to down him with < 50% health, he then wins the fight.

Scoring — scoring needs to be fixed. Currently, zerging anywhere on the map is the way to gain the most glory. Maybe reward higher points for on-point or near-point kills. Maybe increase the reward for defending. Maybe even decrease the reward for off-point kills. A simple buff that you get while standing within a vicinity of a node that gives you + 50% or + 100% glory bonus would do…as you venture away from that node, you lose that buff, obviously.

There are pages and pages of suggestions. I don’t have time to fix the game when the information available to fix the things that are broken are so readily available. I can tell you what I can do though — point out the things that I think are broken — and the things that detract from my having fun while playing, which is what I did.

Here is my version :

1) Mesmers : after the recent nerf and training, I’m not having issues with them as ele

2) Thieves : Fun and quite easy to counter

3) Warriors: same as thieves

4) Guardians: they’re a problem only for Kylo map and bunker builds which require some tactics..hence it’s hard to counter, because few player know the meaning of the word

5) Rangers : Fun class to go against

6) Engineers : Nice challenge but still doable

7) Elementalist : first class for number of bad players using it

8) Necromancer : second class for number of bad players using it
