All I seem to hear in sPvP is ur class is OP or ur Build is OP or noob blah blah blah.. no matter what class I play I get it at some point….. if you go into pvp expect to die don’t bloody moan about it…

1. If you think someone’s builds OP try it….ul find out its not and u die..!
Necros>Mesmer Hide/Condi
Fear/daze/Birdy(:D)>Evade Theif (this is a pain but they do no dmg and can get locked down)
Ranged> Hammer Warriors/Condi Engis
Aoe Builds> Pet Builds
and so on, theres a lot of ways to get all these sipposed op builds down…

2. all classes and builds are counterable by something else…. it doesn’t make it OP.. ur just not invincible and never will be… deal with it.

3. All or 90% of past MMORPG’s weren’t balanced if they were no1 would die and people would leave…what’s the point?

4. Find a Character you like…if something’s “COUNTERABLE” on ur class avoid it…its not OP they can kill you for a reason… there built to..

5. Your all moaning pvp is broken certain classes stand no chance… ive fought good ppl from all classes…. LEARN UR CLASSES before u scream op noob #ragequit

6. You cant expect to wipe a whole team out and never die… this would make you op…. contradiction?…..

7. Yes Certain Builds are better at 1v1 if u like 1v1 play one of the builds suited to it and you….u will still die its PvP and someone will be better than you…doesn’t mean there OP

8. never spec a character just for dmg if you hate dyeing…..get some heals and toughness for god sake and control ur conditions… for people who hate dying try a toughness/condition build then ur hard to get down…

Bottom line is I truly believe that the bulk of people complaining all the kitten time about pvp are the ones who do not have a clue how to pvp or how it works…. this isn’t PvE u cant just smash ur face into ur keyboard and wipe out a zerg……. learn to play and accept that there are classes u cant kill and if u hate not being able to kill that class then respec to kill it but relise that you will now be beaten by something else…… its easy to cry op when all ur doing is searching for an op build/character yourself..

now onto the now un understood term of being a noob…..

If someone kills you in any other way other than spamming the same botton 1000x till your dead ex. heart Seeker…or 111111 bashing to stack bleeds then they most likely know what there doing and this is why your dead…..noob is used as an insult I don’t know why because all it means is you new to the game or pvp if your neather of these things its impossible for you to be a noob lol…. someone that’s played the game for a year cant instantly become a noob because they killed you…

It is impossible to make a game 100% balanced and if it was it would be boring anyway…

ill most likely get flamed and people will cry out about builds they don’t agree with but they are killable by something or some build if u hate the build so much spec to it and kill every dam person u see running it then eventually most of them will quit it because they die on it and there search for an OP build that doesn’t really exist continues.

if someone’s bugging you with there build and trolling you or acting like a pro invite them to a 1v1 and use a counter class/build on them and laugh at them back simple’s? if they beat you there not OP there just bloody better than you accept it and learn from it/them… so much negativity in pvp its ment to be fun…not a ragezone lol.

i hated necros on my thief

i rolled a necro and realized how necros are in fact even more powerful than i thought

can’t build toughness/healing on thief w/o turning the build into complete garbage…good try though

my opnion on the whole is: all classes should have similar trade off for similar effectivness

for example:
if you want more CCs, you should trade off dmg or survivability for it
if you want to go tanky, you should trade off dmg for it
you want moblity, you should trade off survivability for it etc.

you shouldn’t be able to build tanky mobile CC machine with high dmg on top of it

the problem is that some classes indeed are too effective for little trade off

also condi dmg/tanky gear shouldn’t exist, you should be able either to build tanky or for dmg, but not both in one

having a class that is too effective in every area just causes frustration for other players, they either end up rerolling that very class or quit game, eventually game becomes boring and ppl quit (example: WoW pvp in MoP, high rated arena was consisting of mages and warriors only, people got bored of getting one shot/one shotting other and quit game → arena kind of died out)

The way I look at it is this. No class itself is OP right now and skill wise there is much balance. I can beat any class by outplaying them and vice versa. (I main engie/guard btw) the only thing I currently consider OP is the lack of animations on a necro.

I agree with you…….to an extent. Like the above poster said a class shouldn’t be able to do everything in one build. Its not right when you see a team consisting of 4 warriors and a necro or the opposite. The game will be balanced when you see a team that can be good with not one duplicate class in it. ie: ranger, warrior, necro, mesmer, thief or engi, ele, ranger, mesmer, guardian.

i think more players are playing warrior because it is the easiest profession to play when compared against the rest.

i was play a lot with warrior,now i reroll thief. almost every second match peoples call me 2222 spammer. some time i use it only once in fight,but i am still spammer noob xD i wish to see they reroll thief and use hearseeker as much as possible,play with heartseeker and auto attacks only…. The bottom line im trying to make is yes pvp has its faults but as it stands no class is OP some builds or classes work better or are easyer to learn…

Eg.. warrior is the easiest class to learn (on certain builds) so many people roll them thus many people getting killed from them and this is why people think they are so unbalanced but in reality there not theres just more people playing the easyer class to learn…. warriors can be killed easily just like any other class..

Most of his points actually did not have anything to do with your dyslexia. Typing in ALL CAPS for example, is just bad forum etiquette, and it gets on people’s nerves. He was pointing out that less people are likely to read your post, when the post itself does not look pleasant to read. And using “u” instead of “you” comes off as just a bit lazy. Besides, there is such a thing as automatically checking for spelling on most browsers.

If you spend a little more time on proper formatting and wording, your post just seems more coherent, and more people will be interested in what you have to say. So I don’t think he was trolling, he had a good point.

This post was unnecessary for two reasons.

1) While the grammar wasn’t perfect, it was written well enough for people to understand. It actually had some cohesive structure. Given the fact this is not a classroom and is, in fact, a message board for a video game, I think it was written well enough to get the point across. No need to put the grammar hammer down.

2) Your post did nothing to comment either positively or negatively about the topic of the original post. This makes you come off as a troll.

Now, to the original poster, I have to completely agree. The use of “noob” or “terribad” is used way more than necessary. There is always going to be someone better than you, and there will always be a class that can take you down, regardless of your skill. It’s part of the typical MMORPG game design.

Dude don’t mention Fox News like MSNBC and CNN don’t do the same thing it makes you sound like a partisan hack. All political stripes have networks that cater to there viewers point of view to a degree. Not to side track the discussion but I hate it when people live in a bubble/bring politics into a discussion about video games even if its throw away. Millions of people watch Fox News I know you think they are all fools but they are not.

Give us a real combat log, with real details and understanding about what kills us (not just the biggest damage dealer up top), and then you’ll see peoples actually try to understand, analyse what they did wrong or what the other did right and improve.

Well, in a utopic world, peoples should at least whine a little bit less…

I would also like to see a combat log was the best thing to look back on the moments before you died in aion and see ware you went wrong… but sadly I don’t think a combat log would be usefull for WvW as it would spam/cause lag…and in spvp it would be
