So I just assumed that before the glory changes that, because they were so readily available, there would be some other way to obtain equipment tokens for spvp. So before the changes I used up all of my sword tokens…now it seems nearly impossible to obtain any new ones. What gives?

You could salvage your existing swords to try to get more.

Why do you want sword tokens exactly?

So that I can craft a Fiery Gladius. I’m having trouble getting sword drops from chests and when I do get them they don’t give my tokens.

Well, yeah. If you have glory, you can buy it from the second tab at the Rabbit vendor (or any chest vendor, but rabbit’s the closest). Other than that, you’re pretty much stuck to salvaging your existing sword collection.
