Not sure how that will affect pvp in the game as a whole or not too much.

I hope people realize grouch literally carried this game mode. He’s the only person at arenanet who cares about the health of pvp. It’s gonna really suck without him but hopefully he will have set the future brightly with season 5 and everything else he’s worked on.

wow… this really sucks.. Grouch was a huge part of PvP.

this is terrible news for the spvp community, he was one of the few devs that actualy spoke with us on the forums, now i dont see any hope for pvp to get better any time soon

I wouldnt be surprised, i worked at Fed Ex Freight on 228th and it moved from West Valley to a warehouse with twice as many doors. So the Fed Ex was like 119 doors big and that Amazon which is only like 3 minutes away from the Fed Ex is literally 2-3 times bigger.

They are literally sending flyers to peoples doors saying can you do anything we will give you a job.

Like most people already said, he was the main pillar to pvp, to community pvp tourneys and pve also.
For now we will probably get the fruits of what he was working on but after that i dont see a very bright future for pvp without him :/
Hopefully he gets a better job
