I quit playing for about 2 months during this period.
Notice interesting opponents with similar names. You think they are multiboxing or a bunch guys with too much time on their hands?

Are you trying to make a point? I could make the same point about mesmers, who are as common as thieves in hotjoin. Even if I did make that point, it still means nothing other than the fact that hotjoin heroes are free meals and the best way to have dinner is with a side of cheese.

You serious? Look at kill feed, they are farming kills. Like any good player in Hotjoin Spvp knows, thats the best way to get glory. Who cares about winning when you can have 200+ more glory on the losing side that zergs.

Well i have seen too a lot of hotjoins with full thieves in both teams..and pretty much till today i see at least 3 thieves in every team…They said to me L2P and i guess Anet agree with this since theres no nerfing coming….The Shortbow 1 in the Ranger wasnt alright since it made Rangers spamming 1 and winning but the thief combo is alright…And the inv stomping is alright i geuss.And even if you manage to stop his combo or the thief kitten up he can always stealth and walk away leaving you with zero points but again thats alright…I see about 2-3 posts everyday in the sPvP forum complaining about thieves but its alright..Its obvious thats something wrong with me

it IS a learn to play issue, amongst the good players thiefs are not considered over powered, they dont get over represented in paid tournaments.

If you learn to play an Ele, and you get good at it, you will never lose a 1on1 to a thief again.

Wow that’s crazy – I have never seen one hotjoin that was all thieves – it’s usually like the red team in the screenshot.

OK I played hot join all evening and the absolute maximum number of thieves on any team was… 2. And for most of the time on my side there was one. I am going to call poo-poo on the team full of thieves all the time thing.

@Fishybill: Anyone who wanted to coordinate the hotjoin play last night got frustrated and logged off. The folks who were happy were those who got tons of points regardless of which side won. In fact there was one game where the losing side had 4 or so players ranking above the other side’s top players in points and were extremely happy with that. On several occasions the folks getting lesser points just leave early on in the game and the bout requires like 3 rounds of autobalancing. Just an indicator.

Another one… So many ppl without knowledge/expirience is willing to share (what they dont have). FYI (amongst top thief players) thief is considered “OP” and “No skill required”.

FYI this is not a 1v1 game, but if you like to play 1vs1… go play Quake 1,2,3 – Warcraft 3, Starcraft….

protip: the score is at the top of the window. personal score mean nothing in tpvp…ops it was hotjoin…
