I like your ideas, but the whole “voting” stuff is pointless: people will do what they want to do, and for the most part, that is just to be complete kitten s and off-point fight the whole game.
We need a way to rate players post-match and for those scores to contribute to the overall “skill” score for that player(if we ever get an actual GOOD ranking system in this game…lol).

Players Rating players is always a horrible idea. Nothing should ever be dependent on random kittens. No good rating system should be dependent on the mercy of other players.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.
Then you obviously didn’t put much thought into it.
You weight it, just like you do any other ranking system, to favor positive votes. Someone getting a negative overall rating wouldn’t lose much(if anything), but a lot over time would contribute to a drop in rank. However, if you got a favorable rating in a game, as well as a win, then it would be the deciding factor in “bumping” you to a higher rank.
Again, it isn’t the SOLE factor in rank; it would be part of the overall system, which would also include PPM/G, KPM/G, CPM/G, Overall Heals/DPS/G, etc.
The current system is utter trash and just further contributes to the “GW2 isn’t an e-sport” mentality.

I did, but whatever thought I put into was simply outweighted by human behavior. Also other factors don’t really say much about contribution other than you did.

Yeah, I kind of don’t like the idea of players voting for anything.
