Edit: Post now out of context since thread creator deleted his post. He was concerned about the PvP-matchmaking since he had a loosing streak.

Played three games today, three good games. Can’t complain about anything.

If you lost every game yesterday, your mmr will have taken a huge hit. If you know meet more newbies, the system seems to work fine…

If you want to go over your build or playstyle, we can meet ingame and talk a bit – just to make sure – the problem is the system and not you.

I am 6 and 1 since the reset purely solo queueing and the matches have been pretty good. I had 2 games with 1 person constantly dcing (1 game it was the other team 1 game it was my team and I won both).

None of the games have been too close but they haven’t been blowouts either. Two days ago I lost 9 or 10 in a row, I am convinced solo queue is mostly luck, sometimes you get the right teammates/matchups sometimes you go 0-10.

It will always be a crap shoot if you solo queue, it is why I think the leaderboard will always be a bit of a grind . Its the only chance a solo queuer really has.

Thanks for the offer Teutos, but I’ve been in the LB last test season top 200 and now top 100, I’ve played more than enough games to know how to play PvP and my class / build, and I’m fairly used to losing streaks, happens quite to often in GW2 PvP in my opinion, but the state currently, its just ridiculous.

No more ridiculous than someone who goes on a losing streak and still being in the top 100 is.

You get out. You have options to play with four other players you know. If you solo queue you run the risk as everybody else as to who you get teamed with. But most of us have the dignity as to not whine about it on the forums.

ITT people who are on winning streaks confirm that the system is fine who would have known. Haven’t seen a difference in the matchmaking still full premades vs solo queues and more turret engis than ever.
