Hey guys. My name is Bao and I am mainly known as Zoose in game. I play Elementalist for team Joo Binder Gaming and you can find me on Anvil Rock US. I am openly challenging anyone to a best 2/3 or 3/5 duels. These are the rules:

• You can build whatever you may like, this is more for me practicing vs all classes/builds
  - No Elites unless agreed on by both players
  - Agree on best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 BEFORE we start dueling
  - Attack on sight when you’re ready

As long as you play on a US server it doesn’t matter cause we can still duel! If you’re on EU then we can’t though

What class are you?

I play anvil rock. Would you be willing to run multiple matches? That don’t have to go against your record for this? I could use a sparring partner myself. As asked above, what class are you?

Not to mention he’s doing it on an ele, which 2 weeks ago was regarded as completely useless and not to be used in pvp (peruse the forums, it was just the general sentiment). Looks like he’s proving a point.

im doing duels mainly to get better myself. i like to keep track of things. i have all my duels recorded so i can rewatch them. if i wanted to boost myself i’d just post them.

@Plonks Anyway we could see you losses? I believe that watching a competent player lose improves game play the most. This certainly would squash a few of the complaints about your ego.

I understand this is for you to get better, but i’m not seeing the point of not using elites, is it because the ele’s sucks? This isnt that good of a test of skill with out all skills being availble. And /bow for a thief….if you ever seen a thief coming then he is doing it wrong.

most of my fights go attack on sight i just put that there because. i should prob take it off.

because sitting in time warp is balanced and no the ele’s elite doesn’t suck it’s actually pretty good. most of the time you dont have your elite up and that’s just basic 1v1 standards. i’ve also had fights where we include elites. i had a thief pop thieves guild on me and still get dunked when i didnt use mine.

I may have to vs you with my ele if I get the time, I’m in Aus though, so doubt I’ll see you online

I bet people are still going to deny it and that Elem will remain a sleeper.

Pardon my noobie question, but how do you duel?? Is it an option in TPVP?

Do you have a preferred Ele duelist build, Plonks? I’ve always loved balanced D/D builds for dueling, but don’t like running them in tPvP, since my role when playing the Ele is rarely a duelist role (against any competent team). Haven’t focused on dueling on my Ele in a longggg time, so I’m curious as to your thoughts on the 1v1 strengths of the Ele using duel-focused builds versus more standard S/D power build.

Join an empty server and hope the other people who randomly join won’t interfere. If they do, leave and join another.

I play the same exact S+D build that I do in tourney play, the only difference is if I face a necro then I take cleansing fire instead of arcane wave. You can see some of the things I do on my stream. I stream most of my 1v1s and tourney play.

To answer your question though, you can spec into a 1v1 class as a D+D Ele and do extremely well. D+D Eles give me a harder time 1v1 than most because shocking aura is just so good. Plus they just buffed D+D Eles! I might just switch to it haha :]

Join an empty server and duel, if someone else joins you can just go to the mist and join another one yah.

How do you do 1v1 in this game? That would be so epic. I would duel you with my ele.
