Why is there no option to leave the solo tournament queue while you are waiting, or even the option to leave before the match starts? the leave button does nothing and even if you logout and login different character that character is auto ported to the tournament.

this is bull. it just means people who changed their mind about playing tournament while waiting are gonna be afk and make your team lose.

what on earth were anet thinking when designing this queuing system?

oh yeah click the button and we will lock your whole account to be forced into this tournament game regardless if you want or not.. you clicked the button once, so what u wanna un-click it? haha denied!

this neither helps the player nor the team they are forced into joining, so it should be changed.

AFTER the match starts, yes of course don’t give an option to leave but before it starts while teams are being built there should be no reason why you can’t change your mind.

I found your post while searching how to leave the solo queue before the match starts. The same thing happened to me: I realized I couldn’t play the match and ended up having to log off for a while because every character had the “Go now?” question on their screen. This is a pain in the butt for me, and really not fair on other players.

I have been able to leave the queue, so maybe this is a new bug or something O.o But you can’t leave the queue when the “go now”-dialog appears, because then a game has already begun and the 2-minute countdown to the start has been initialized

when it pops up and says “go now” or “wait” it’s too late.

prior to that, you can leave the queue the same way you entered it.

i’ve never had an issue cancelling queue unless i already had a match ready.

If the prompt comes up to join a tournament, you are required to play the match until it finishes. You can cancel it prior to that, so there is no issue here at all.

A better solution would be to make sure that you actually want to do tournaments before clicking queue.
