Hi everyone We are a new Guild who know eachother IRL, but decided to film an attempt at a tournament. Before this video, we had never won a single Tournament game out of 7 attempts, so imagine our surprise as we got all the way to the final and got it all recorded in one sitting on Fraps!

We know we’re not the best players, but we have fun, and want to get better.. any other like-minded people playing in UK times, please get in touch

Lols such a Pillar of our community, it’s a shame we have the odd ones like Pray, when in general I think the community has been great. Anyway Gratz on your wins and the vid. What did you record with? I’m trying Fraps but really struggling with FPS in game when recording. I’m saving it to a different hard drive and using a semi decent system 2×470 SLI, 1090t oc,d to 3.8. And WD. Black drives apart from OS on SSD. But drops to like 20 fps when recording.

It was recorded with the latest version of Fraps on a system I built a few years ago, the first generation i7 processor. 6gb of DDR3 Tri-channel running at 1600mhz, and a single Gigabyte GTX 560 (not Ti). I had most of the quality settings on High/Ultra and as long as the characters on the screen don’t go above 10 or so, I don’t get much slowdown at all when recording. The HD is a normal SATA WD drive, nothing fancy, recording to the same drive that GW2 runs on.

Umm don’t low then I’m running 8gb mushkin ram, what is your screen resolution? And game resolution, is it full screen or windowed?

Desktop 1920×1080 screen resolution, i run the game ‘windowed fullscreen’ at the same resolution.
