Now, I had a rough night. Did a lot of trolling around learning the new map. But I straight up got outplayed most the night – this guy got me the best… twice. So for everyone’s enjoyment:

I think the most incredible thing in those videos is your masterful control of your facial expressions… even while laughing extremely hard, you manage to appear serenely calm… almost completely still. Amazing.

Outplayed? Looks more like you just tried to catch these situations for your vid, how can you position yourself so horribly, the engi pulls out flame thrower and dodges behind you, and you got 2 dodges but you do nothing, what you expected? barbecue?

Haha me playing badly = me being outplayed. You can’t just chalk up my poor positioning only to my error. He took advantage of it.

Also, as a side note. Why would I try to embarrass myself? I thought they were good clips, they don’t really do much for me to put them up. I laughed, they were fun. If you don’t like ‘em you don’t really have to say anything about it.

Never feel annoyed if an opponent uses cc like that. We’re both trying to do it and if he manages to first then I’ve been outplayed. And yeah it’s usually pretty funny either way.

I was just assuming that this is hidden whining behind sarcastic “outplayed” but ye if your not beeing sarcastic then excuse me. =/

Hi Narcasis, just thought I’d post here and make a comment on those vids, being the engie (Myrrinah) that fought you in both situations.

I wasn’t having a particularly great evening myself and in all honesty any other map in those situations would’ve had you as a victor. Both times I managed to get you were due to positional advantages which wouldn’t have been as important in other maps as those factors don’t exist (that is the collapsible tiles and falling off the edge).

Nevertheless it was a fun game and it was great having a chance to play against you in a tournament match and learn from better players to hopefully improve my game.

Best Determination face NA is back

Prime example why present day pvpers should WvW more with this current map type. As the elements within sky hammer could become a staple in future pvp map designs. But one could argue that the transition from pvp to pve or vice versa simply gimps various peoples game play experience. Not to mention many pvpers views of wvw or how others put it zvz. So please let more fall footage occur and let the laughs continue until everyone gets accustomed to this map design.

Love seeing a player put up videos not just trying to blow smoke up their own backside, but something fun for the community

Got a little more practice with the map elements. Still have to get used to the positioning requirements. The map is far less forgiving than others. Right now it’s a love/hate relationship.

Wait, how are those gonna work, if you get such high falling damage to die?

Even worse wouldn’t you risk of being trapped there for the whole match, if you survive?

I believe he’s speaking specifically of the warrior falling trait… perhaps I’ve already said too much…

Whatever it is, if you fall down the edge, I don’t think you’ll be able to come back up again. More like a permanent death, if you don’t die.

If you are talking about falling from non-lethal slopes, then I don’t know.

Yeah sorry I didn’t mean like Caed. That will always kill you. I mainly meant the death from above Warrior style leap from where he was freecasting from (or maybe a bit higher)

For those who haven’t been down there, if you survive the fall to ground level, the wurms hit for 12k+ and are invulnerable. I haven’t found any way back up except to suicide on them.

Yeah, unless you are a mesmer and preset a portal, it’s impossible.

Is the 10/30/0/0/30 build link in your Twitch info up to date? Also, would you consider using another trait over the 5% precision to vitality conversion trait? Such as the 20% signet cd reduction trait or furious retaliation since it got buffed from 45sec to 30sec cd.

Yes, it’s the same build.
And no, I prefer the HP – does exactly what I need it to do.

Caed, use tripwire on glass panes, and scorpion wire. So GOOD

I’ve tried both… and they both hate me =[ Scorpion wire pulled people 2 feet every time I used it, and tripwire never seemed to want to go off – only worked once.

scorpion wire is a gamble, but it’s oh so worth it when it actually works.

If you pull after the glass is broken it won’t pull them through it. Same concept with shadowsteps.

Jumper it works most of the times when the glass is broken, but only if:

• You are at a slight higher position than your target
• If you jump right after using scorpion wire, so you meet this higher position requirement
