All the folks are off work, and no balance, nothing will change until late Jan as stated. You are wasting your breath, which is incredibly saddening since this is when most of the players get free time to play. What an absolute mess A-Net left and such bad timing.

It’s not that they don’t want to fix it, its that anyone at A-Net who walked into the forums or in-game in PvP are showered with incredibly negative criticism won’t want to touch that with a 5 feet pole. I haven’t seen a single positive thing in PvP and for a very good reasons. If I were an employee at A-Net I’ll take a few extra sick days.

PS. For all the folks worried about A-Net saying they will punish MMR abusers, rest assured nothing will happen to you I guarantee it because everyone is doing it. They messed up hard and no one will get punished. A-Net will just sweep it under the rug and hope people forget.

Don’t worry fella, Anet isn’t looking at the forums for meaningful feedback anyway. Its much more likely that they are tracking behavior(s) or other metrics in game to steer their decisions. When there is a mess going on with gameplay (players gaming the matchmaking system rather than playing pvp), or dirty pulls implemented to sell gems (original gold to gem converter, sprocket pick axe, etc), etc etc Anet does not check here but instead, like most people, heads over to reddit to gauge the rage.

In all honesty, there is just too much dribble here for them to sift through whether it be constructive criticism or not. The fact that these forums are now moderated by ‘forum specialists’ and CDI data collection initiatives haven’t been a thing for almost 2 years should give you an idea of just how little stock anet puts in the content on these forums. You are better off to post your feedback on reddit where you are able to be candid with your feedback, both good or bad, and not worry about your post being censored, deleted or swept under the rug and merged with other ‘similar’ posts to go unread.

Metrics will show that it is a success because a lot of people grind the league for the legendary backpack stuff. Its not like they have any choice but to endure this mess if they want it.
Even in my pve guild someone already grinded/exploited his way to legendary
