Since there isn’t a competitive Ladderboard, I decided to name the 50 best “pro” players in North America. This list is to serve as an aid when wanting to know the names of the best players in North America.
Qualifications for list: Play competitively in a tournament before.

This could be easily done, but i prefer S E X and sunshine. As do most other people.

Most vets and any real serious players have since moved on. The above team found a game they were finally good and will stick to it until its dying day.

They should come to SMITE/LoL/ DoTA2 and see how they really stack up against a real PVP community. Not one based around Meta builds, Ai or FoTM. Odds are you would never even know they were playing the game.

At least over at the EU side, the WTS winners get their kitten kicked by other good players so the matches are at least interesting, because there is no certainty who would win.

Every game has FoTm class. However, gw2 is the only game that I have played that thrives on it alone. All the games you mentioned have a Fotm, but you very seldom see anyone thats played more than 10 games using them.

Fotm in gw2 is used in tournaments…everyone runs to Fotm here, everyone runs to Metabattle for builds. This game is beginner level PvP at best. The game was built for sheep.

If you take Hman out, then the top 10 is good. Top 50 is a complete joke I beat 90% of those guys in 1v1 and 5v5. I counted only 13 people in that list that I would consider mechanically good.

Quilja is probably the best guardian NA and isn’t on this.
Zoose is probably playing another game. If you’re going to include him you should include Cmc.
I have seen FalseLights 100-0 PawPaw and PawPaw get rekt one too many times to buy him as top 50 player. Same with Dartanian and Karina getting rekt in queues by random pugs. Not trying to single any of them out or be mean to them.

Hiba beat Chaith in a duel that was streamed last week and is now NA with a potential team.

How do you make these lists?

They probably don’t make those lists based on 1v1. The person who won like both 1v1 tournies was a wvw hero aka Kronos Xnm.

You would have to delete like 80% of the people from the list if it was 1v1 performance because besides the people on the abjured, everybody else on the list would get 100-0ed by random 1v1 heros that dont even play conquest.

If that were the case then some Radioactive members should be included because they managed to dominate quite a few of these players’ teams within recent history. Though I don’t feel like OPN or Crysis or even close to top 10 of either of their classes.

I don’t see any turret engies on the list so obviously this isn’t representative trolololol

DUDE WHERE ARE THE RADIOACTIVE PEOPLE.

I don’t claim to be a PvP master and I only really PvP maybe 4 or 5 times a day but in this most recent ladder season I have seen several of the players on this list lose matches against pugs when there are 2 or even 3 of them grouped up at a time. Surely if they are such great players they can carry two pieces of dead weight against pug teams consisting of pew pew rangers and turret engis.

I am not doubting that they are good but it seems if you take most of these guys off their teams and make they play other solo queuers they aren’t godmode or anything. I think it is more that they play extremely well as teams and are not necessarily the most skilled players.

I actually just saw you made a best teams list and that is probably a lot more accurate than this one.

i shoudl remind you that the latest match making puts good players with SEVERELY worse players than the enemy team. your pug teammates as a good player are GUARANTEED to lose 100% of even fights, andpossibly even outnumbering fights. furthermore you are almost surely going to have them doing very bad rotations, including afking on nodes, rotating into won fights, and rotating into side objectives for no reason whatsoever that puts your team at a disadvantage.

Or those players are playing on off classes and not taking the game seriously, as we are wont to do.

My whole team was joking before the match started that we were about to get stomped and probably still lose points on the ladder because we were somehow favoured. We ended up winning that match by 350 points and I gained 3 points for that win so we were expected to lose and lose badly.

The two randoms their team was given weren’t the greatest but they weren’t brand new or anything.

That’s statement right there is exactly why both WvW players and other players with a similar mindset will never be as good as they would like at conquest. When you take into account who are top players, you also have to take into account how well they know the conquest game, their experience at top tier, composure under high pressure moments, clutch-ability, decision making, team play, consistency, and team comparability. There is more I am not taking into account, but a skilled player at his class does NOT mean he has all of those qualities or more. The reason a lot of those guys in the top 10 or a few in the top 50 are up there is because they are known to have all of those qualities and maybe more.
