Eh, it’s leagues.
They are causing a huge amount of frustration(look at all the people whining about pips). If they just had MMR and displayed a rating off that and gave a amber/emerald/saph etc etc achievement/title at the end of the season it would reduce a lot of whining.

Pips are causing the most tears. Loss of pips and people throwing matches to dump MMR to farm more pips just to get a different icon by their name.
Im a masochist so i don’t mind hitting my head against a brick wall hoping the system will fix itself /s

This ^^^^^^. I’m really not sure if it would be possible to make a worse matchmaking system if they tried. If I was the person who developed it, I would be ashamed. It’s a total disgrace.
It’s not even the league system… It’s how nothing is going to be balanced.
Leagues is serious business bro. It makes our e-pins bigger the more pips we get. There maybe kings and plebs, but there’s also plebs with diamond pins and plebs with only amber pins.

actually you are wrong , the matchmaking system 1 1/2 years ago was much better , we also had solo arena and team arena.
the problem was the decay was broken and didnt work well and the top teams were afraid to lose ranking on the team arena leaderboards and stopped playing or played only 1 game a day. the queue times raised for team arena and people had to wait 30min+ , then they did start crying and arenanet merged solo and team arena and removed the popular solo arena and changed the matchmaking system worse.

It is amazing how far backwards ArenaNet have gone that nearly 2 years ago we had something working well apart from a decay issue which could have been solved easily.
…and what a waste of time it all was.
