yeah It’s pretty horrible. If you want an sPvP Condi hot join Mesmer try something else.. I don’t understand what you are trying to do with that build.

I switched to nightmare, but I’ll be testing Orrian too.
Nightmare’s a good fit; I get 1 second longer confusion 0.5 second longer burning.
Lyssa could work well too. I think 2 condi clears is the best way to go in this meta..
If you can rock this build I dont see how you cant use countless because its way easier. It looks terrible but I’m going to test it ^^ lets see how it works

sincerely, i’ve taken a look at countless build and it’s way better than yours.
You’re taking pretty useless traits such illusionary persona and staff recharge while you could easily take cripple on shatter and confusion on shatter, so your shatters will cause 3 condi each ( 2 AoE stacks of confusion, AoE cripple + AoE random damaging condi PER SHATTER).
You don’t even get better defense with your build, since signet of illusion allows triple distortion.
Just play countless build, it’s way better, but keep scepter/torch.
Haha this is exactly my build. I have been using it for the past couple of weeks. It may seem weird but the survivability and damage is actually good. Once you get use to it, it’s great. Even had a couple of other players ask for this build. Necros and thieves will hate you

I like it its a good solid mesmer condi build. Maybe he should swap one of the other traits for illusionary elasticity (don’t think i saw it.) Also since its a mostly ranged build iPersona isnt a TOTAL necessity but I can see why its taken. I think a good way to swing this build would be 0/25/20/0/25 Just for the confusion combatants. Mesmer builds really shine with those clone on death traits. in pvp i just make use of all the mesmer “on death” traits with clones so the build is 10/25/10/0/25 for max effect. It’s quite impressive how many condis we can stack up with it not to mention perma cripple almost anyone.
The only class I have a terribly hard time with 1v1 is a spirit ranger when I am in condi mode.
