PVP is not fun at all right now.
Either you are the unluckiest person in the game, im the luckiest one, or you lie quite a bit about 4v5s. Outside of getting Vindagor on your team its very rare. Sometimes its just unavoidable, people loose connections or have important stuff come up. But its not a problem at all considering how rarely it happens.
They are reworking the honor system and it will be back for HoT.
Solo vs. premade is not that big of a deal as some people make it out to be either. Its more about skill, ive beaten premades 100s of times running full PUG and lost to soloers with my team 100s of times. If MMR does its job (and imo its pretty good at it considering everything), premade vs. solo is ok. It does consider teams as a factor, so if you do end up playing against premade its likely their MMRs are lower and you have the skill advantage. Ofc its not guranteed, there are other factors, but in general it works pretty good imo.
People just like to blame something for the losses. So every time people loose to a premade its because thats the sole reason, its never something else, 100% cause of team. but consider you loose about 50% of the matches against other full PUGs too.
Though I would like to see MMR distinguish between elementalists and everyone else, and distribute d/d eles evenly
I’m having a lot of fun in PvP.
The 4v5 rate is definitely lower. 6/10 is a bit aggressive lol.
PvP is fun for me, (most of the time.)
I don’t see many people afk or logging out in ranked.
I got dishonored for dc’ing and really was fairly kittened off about it.
Dishonor needs to be based on player complaints, not automated. That’s a pretty big slap and it shouldn’t happen unless there’s a real reason.

-edit- I think ANET should consider tiers of dishonor. If someone is being a kitten for a couple matches, say 30 minute timeout.
Progressing it that way will get the player’s attention without being excessively harsh. Punishing poor sports harshly will make them worse sports and ultimately reduce the pvp population.
