Hello guys,

I just want to hear your opinions about the 1 week map rotation.
In my opinion, it’s too boring to play the same map for 1 week.
I believe that temple of the silent storm is far better than the forest of nifhel
for the following reasons:
1)Small map—>you actually fight and not chase players around a big map
—>more intense fights
2)More objectives-->6 cap
—>3 cap
3)It’s a new map in the tournament rotation and it’s more interesting and fun to play it

So, i recommend to bring temple back for one more week and after to rotate the maps every day. What do you think?

The reason they’re doing one week for each map is to gather data on the map, the playstyles and meta that adapt to that map over a weeks worth of play. It’s actually quite a good way to gather data specifically for each map. They will more than likely switch to a random rotation after each map has had a full week because that’s what most players seem to want.

Temple will definitely be added to the rotation, but they will be keeping Forest as well. Just gotta wait till they test all 4 competitive maps.

To gather information for each map? Seriously?
The game is about 7 months old and we have been playing the 3 competitive maps from the start and they still haven’t collect enough infos.

afraid psycho is correct.
if they didn’t get enough testing from past 7 month of playing. then their having brainlag or something.
meta only changes when class Nerf. you haven’t changed anything to do with maps so why re-check them?

if you change the maps then yes. what you are doing now with the 1 week test is good.

Edit: personally i think this 1 week of same map is another reason to make people stop playing (temp). i know my team is sick of same map for 1 week and not only that, but there is nothing even worth farming for since you gain……. 1x silver chest for winning.

Like they explained in SotG, the past months, using map rotation is different then straight up play on just that map. A lot of players use all purpose team compositions and builds for their classes to fit all the maps, where as they use certain comps and builds, and meta’s for each map when it’s the ONLY map.
I know teams like PZ were trying different things for Temple based solely on it being the only map being played, and they’ve changed back to a different comp because it’s on Forest now.

So do you want temple back or not?
