Just to clear up:

Stone Heart [ELE] – You cannot be critically hit when attuned to earth.

Hidden Killer [THIEF] – Gain bonus critical-hit chance while in stealth. Critical Chance increase: 100%

Sigil of Intelligence - Your next attack after swapping to this weapon while in combat has a 100% critical chance.

Imagine a situation when thief, traited with Hidden Killer / active Sigil of Intelligence backstabs elementalist, that is using Stone Heart. What happens then?

This issue is important, because if crit chance that is over 100% negates Stone Heart, upcoming bunker ele will be exposed to great danger.

Seems pretty straight forward to me. The thief attacks with an attack that would be a critical hit, except that Stone Hearth prevents the hit from being a critical when it hits the ele.

I.e. Stone Heart negating all criticals, including ‘guaranteed’ crits seems to make the most sense.

100% * 0 = 0%
200% * 0 = 0%

Unless Stone Heart subtracts percentage (which would allow >100% crit chance to still sometimes crit), this should work fine.

This was the description long ago. Now they say you have +100% crit chance

what would be an even greater paradox (well not really a paradox) would be if retaliation returned retaliation damage!
2 guardians… both with retaliation, one hits the other, both instantly take infinite damage, server crashes from the infinite flood of numbers in a single instance. :P
