Partial Premades support?
Do we have any info on if partial premades will be supported with the new solo/team queue split. Will there be a way to play as a duo/trio with the new system? I don’t want to be barred from playing with friends because I can’t fill a five man roster for tourneys.
If there is no support for partial teams then chances are many people will sync just like in GW1. I would honestly consider that if I can’t fill a 5 man roster because playing alone really removes a lot of the fun from the game.
I’ve seen this question asked everywhere, and no one from arenanet has responded to one yet, usually they skip over it and answer another question in the same thread so….gotta assume either they haven’t decided yet and are waiting to see feedback from forums…..or….know the answer is disappointing and thus don’t wanna be that guy who has to tell everyone.
I think a good solution to this problem would be to make unranked 5v5 matches that you can queue up for either solo or with a team. Basically keep the current system we have now as a separate unranked queue so that friends can still play together. If people roll a 5 man premade they aren’t really gaining anything besides farming glory so I don’t think that will be a huge issue. There needs to be a slight penalty for leaving though so everyone doesn’t just rage quit if losing.
A more structured version of hotjoin pretty much.
I hope this dosent happen, find full team members or play solo thats it.

It has to be a full split. Solo Queue has to stay Solo Queue. Duo and Triple Queue should Queue against other Pre-Made and Partial Pre-Made teams.
It’s going to be so ridiculous if there’s no way to play with anything less than a full premade. It’s already kitten hard to play spvp with friends as it is. The devs run around trying to figure out how to make spvp more popular, and they still haven’t managed to notice one of the biggest and worst problems it has. kitten. I just wish this combat system were in the hands of a different company.

Just tell me this, how stupid would be if the problem right now is people that joins individualy fights premade teams that are clearly gaining an advantage against a guy who enters with other 4 guys that he dosent know and dont have plans, or strategies, then the devs decides to support 2,3,4 people in a group join the solo games, didint this is stupid to you?, to try to solve the problem creating the same problem at the same time?…
There is no way they are allowing this because there is a reason for it to be SOLO games, there are already TEAM games, you and your friends can play there right now, you are not complete?, then find members, thats it.

They already said TeamQ will be same as it is now – you can join with 4 ppl or solo – however you want
and soloQ will be solo only
