Passives cd indicators
I’m pretty sure its not just me but after you played a while you’ll know if passive is on or off CD. Ofc not to the precise seconds but often sufficient for you to decide whether to use your skill or not.

Assuming you are dueling. In 5v5 matches, where you usually join mid of fights, you never know what CD is up until it is actually used or you are on ts and your team actually calls them.
Meanwhile Anet nerfs all stealth attacks on thief assuming thief player should be somehow magically able to track all hidden CDs from all 5 enemies across the map /faceplam

Well a great solution to this is to remove passives and make the game skillful again.

Interesting that you brought “passive CD on enemy” up, since me and OP are clearly talking about player’s own passive CD. Even if there is a passive CD indicator, I’m not sure its a good idea that the opposing players should see it.
EDIT: ah I see where you get confused on, I was talking about deciding to use damage mitigation skill or wait for passive ICD, alternatively using skills that has passive CD attached to it (eg. incendiary powder etc)

I actually think we should be able to see enemies hidden CDs considering Anet balancing team expects us to know when those CDs are up with their balancing choices.
As far as own CDs go, shouldn’t you have general idea when your own CDs are up?

Assume they’re always on CD and hope for the best.
