People are Diamond but play like Amber
You just suffer from a superiority bias. Think about what you do wrong and stop blaming your team mates.
Sometimes your teammates wrong , but sometimes your wrong . Just take a break ,a long long break .I was in the same situation as your , so i keep telling myself “this game suck btw,i’l comeback when it’s git gut”.
What exactly does an Amber play like? I could have all the experience in the world, but just haven’t played the game since release of leagues. Are ambers supposed to be bad? All it means is that they haven’t played leagues too much.
Some players may get amber/diamond on a different profession then the one they are currently playing. Other may get carried by their team. Still you should expect them to have a understanding of the strategies involved in pvp. I know once I hit amber I will swap to my noob Enginner/Rev.

Diamond is like the end of the road for most players, a point at which they can finally:
- ditch that boring meta build they played for so many hours
- relax and play for fun, like in a real game
Only pip junkies continue, and you know pip junkies, they are the worst.
That little icon to me only shows who grinded the most matches. Doesn’t judge skills what so ever

Indeed. Just like wvw rank, or other such metrics, it merely reflect the time invested in a particular area of the game.

Part of what I did that seemed to help with the stress of seemingly bad games was start doing exercise when I made one of a small list of mistakes.
Give up a terrain advantage? thats a set of ten. Look at the scoreboard mid game? Another set of 10. Lose a fight I should have won? Another set of 10.
It had two effects.
First. Its incredible stress relief. I stopped getting angry. And when I do get angry it usually disappears pretty quickly.
Second. I started noticing my own mistakes during the match as being more “Real” and its helped my game play ALOT.
If your matches are going badly. Id recommend doing the same or something similar even if its just putting down a tally mark on a piece of paper whenever you do X thing.
Sure it might be your team in a way. But its also likely something you yourself are doing wrong. Even if it seems a small thing. If you do it 3-4 times a game you could be throwing the match without ever realising it.
I had a diamond rev on my team.. a hammer rev. I have not seen him a single time swapping out of hammer. 3 ppl in his face, melee range and he autoattacked with hammer.. Reported for mmr tanking. Lately i run in many peeps similiar to that rev like some pu condi mes..
Playing Smite since mid s2, f broken gw2.

Ha Nice!!!
i went a little further. 4 evenings per week i ask myself “Gym or GW2 PvP” . Gym wins most of the time. Same benefits
1. I dont get as stressed since im not really PvP’ing as much
2. I get fitter.
:)
I do like your suggestion though!
“Buff my main class, nerf everything else. "
I mean you want to go to legendary by soloq? lmao
Not sure what you are saying. There’s no playing like amber, ruby, or legendary – in current system divisions are not a mark of skill.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
you dont actually think everyone with higher rank earned it the right way or by skill do you? really?
Because this ranked system is broken like hell, this “save spots” every next tier make this ranked system noob friendly and it is not uncommon to meet player with 30% win rate in Ruby.

Win rate is not a reflection of skill in a 5 man match anyway so that really doesn’t mean much. Whether you win or lose is a result of who you are teamed with, not your own ability 90% of the time.
