Seriously, what is up with this? It’s always THAT type of player, too. Right when your team is about to lose, check the leaderboards and you’ll see people drop and you’ll be at a 3 person disadvantage. It’s a hard DC, not leaving the match but the game.

Is there anything that tracks losses?

Losses are tracked in the PvP windows and tourney leaderboards.

If Anet is not causing an instant “loss” for being offline or not in a match when the game ends, they should be.

No they aren’t, my team was dominating then at 420 to 100 something I dc and I cant tell you how kitten ed I was, they definitely did something to servers because I dc a lot more.

Anyways it counted it as a win and I wasn’t punished for dc’ing.

I don’t know what to say about this, I’m against ragequitters but sometimes you just dc. And a lot of people are ragequitting.

There should be something like in starcraft where someone dc’s a game pause appears and each team has 2 mins worth of waiting for that guy to come back.

The good outweighs the bad because the game gave someone a chance to comeback, and it gives the team time to discuss strategy since they down 1 person. Last time I checked people liked this in starcraft because nobody wants to be down 1 person.

If your team wins, you still get a win.
If you team loses, the next time you play and finish a match you will be handed an extra loss.
