I’m wondering if anyone has figured this out yet: what determines your ranking, exactly? Is it only your win-loss ratio or is there some personal statistic tracking involved as well?

Your placement after the soft reset determines your Mmr since everyone was +/- 1200 Mmr, then depending on the Mmr of yourself and the team you are against.and if you win or lose, if you win and your Mmr is higher your Mmr increase is lower if it is lower your increase is higher and the same if you lose if your Mmr is higher the point loss is higher etc….

As BlaqueFyre said, personal contribution has little to do with it, except than you’re more likely to be succesful as a team if you contribute. Still, you could be the top player in almost every category in every single game and have a crappy rating if your team at a whole wasn’t succesful (i.e. actually winning the game).

I would have loved it if personal contribution would have some kind of weight in the equation (with winning, opposing team rating and personal rating still being the determining factor if you gain rating or not), but it probably is harder to get right.
