The problem with petting zooway, as well as was the case with IWAY, is that it promotes passive play and is as successful, and sometimes even more so, as someone who chooses to play a more active play-style. Hard counters like, “Well just bring a warrior,” are a ridiculous way to answer the problem. No one wants to play rock paper scissors, and that will only serve to limit the game variety and team composition even further.
Petting zooway is terrible and needs to be extinct. Pressing your 1 button to auto win and not worrying about dodging because you have protection for days is not good game design.
Ideally, spirits need to be used, and designed in such a way, to promote tactful play in order to establish some type of positioning advantage. You don’t get that with what we have now. Try again A-net.

Ironically, these types of builds are the easiest to fight against as well. People just haven’t learned the meta yet. I don’t even have a ranger or necro, but I sure enjoy fighting them. Easy win.

The thing about that is that warriors are now fine anyway, just especially strong against condi classes, so you’re not actually overreacting by bringing a warrior. You’ll do fine until you start running into ele+mes in the same team again. Even then you’re probably fine unless you’re running double warriors or something crazy.
Plus, you might not want to play rockpaperscissors, but no one wants to play rockrockrock.
Ranger:
All spirits can now be launched, knocked down, and knocked back.
Storm Spirit, Frost Spirit, Sun Spirit, Stone Spirit, and Spirit of Nature will now begin their recharge when the spirit dies instead of when the spirit is summoned.
Storm Spirit, Frost Spirit, Sun Spirit, and Stone Spirit: Recharge has been reduced from 60 seconds to 25 seconds.
Spirit of Nature: Recharge has been reduced from 240 seconds to 180 seconds.
Solar Flare: Fixed a bug so this skill no longer applies a duplicate infinite duration blind.
