Pretty much title. I soloqueue, I get matched against a 4 men premade, we lose at the timer 406 to 434 (yeah, awesome match.. hail the meta) and I lose 1 pip. How is this even possible??

Probably because you were solo’d into another 3/4 man so the system deemed it a fair matchup I assume, but if everyone was solo ¯\_ (?)_ /¯.

if everyone was solo their average MMR may have been a lot higher than the other teams anyway
