Plain simple, why there's no TA/RA+?
they could do the variety of pvp arenas seasonally. like the nba, they have a single mode of play during the season, and when the all stars comes, there is the dunking competition, three point competition, etc. all stars comes only once a year so that could be something to imitate.
I’m surprised you lasted to rank 30.
GW2 is not balanced around TDM style matches….I’m fine with objective game modes, I’d just wish they add more, sooner rather then later.
But there are lots of issues as to why pvpers are quitting gw2, and I’m sure that A-net is aware of this and will address it “soon”.
Agreed 100% with topic
Guild Wars 2 so far has nothing in common with Guild Wars 1 pvp wise. Why even bother calling it Guild Wars 2

Reduce damage to around 30% less for all classes in the format (need to be testing but it may even need near 50% less or more) – along with some other changes I mentioned in a vid, done, balanced around gvg style matches. This can be done with one buff for the format like guildwars had per month in the top left corner (this flux never needs to change or be visible though).

I third this.
As a guildwars player it’s disappointing everything we expected from a guildwars 2 was thrown out the window.
The funniest part to me (literally the funniest part) is how capes were the pvp achievement in one and we don’t even have capes!
On a side note, I would have happily waited a few more years for this game to release as something else and guildwars 2 to be guildwars 2.

I agree. I liked so much the GW arenas and PvP modes.
I think everyone will apreciate their comeback.
