Keep dreaming my friend
They did…the preview is always the definitive … business as usual…maybe this time however ????
But I would not be too optimistic if I were you…

Thats not true at all. They aren’t releasing patch notes because its not definitive.
What?! You want more scandal?! Can’t you read the forums?!
ArenaNet, please do not release patch notes before 26 January so I can enjoy peace a little longer.
Honestly would love if they released at least the profession balance notes, might help to quiet some of the outcries on here and at least let people prepare for the future better.
The problem with releasing patch notes “now” is simply that kitten can still change between now and then. And should they say “a” and it ends up being “b” for whatever reason, people will have fits.
By the time anet published their foggy goals, they were still figuring out what to change. And we all know they won’t be ready by tuesday, and will either push random things that make no sense or stick to the preview, which, all in all, is the same.

Even if they change things between now and the patch (for example based on valid feedback from the community after they have access to the full patchnotes), there is an easy way to prevent outcry from those that wanted change A instead of change B… and the solution is so easy and has been proofen to work for many other companies in similar situation, that it is sad that it would not work here:
Communicate with your community. Have the designer interact with the community and let him explain why the change was done differently or not at all. That works better than they might expect.
