Please Stop Multi-Capping
they could just be doing it for the daily caps,
though i get what you mean, imho the scoreboard system needs to change,
it falsely leads people in to thinking that they’re doing something positive by mindlessly zerging around.

Please remove the daily cap achievement. Youre basicly teaching new players to cap with multiple ppl.
It’s just common sense really.
@OP:
Your issue is judging anything based on hot join. People don’t play there to win. They go to try out new classes, new specs, or to finish the last part of a daily.
If you see someone doing it in solo queue, by all means, say something. In hot join, you just need to understand why people are there.

It’s the daily captures achievement in addition to bonus rank points from most nodes capped.
Keep in mind that anyone interested in spvp enough to read this forum doesn’t need this advice.
Usually doesn’t happen in solo queue but today I get a game with 4 people who all went to sit on home till cap as I fight 1 vs 3 mid.

speaking from the hotjoin perspective, there is nothing really wrong with this, particularly for the reason that it groups people up, but if people want their 10 points i dont mind.
the biggest advantage tho is grouping up. if u have 2-3 people stay together after cap and jump into the next battle with everyones rotation ready to fire at the same time youll have a much bigger impact than people trickling in 1 by 1 here and there.
furthermore, on some occasions ive had people leave me on the node only to have enemies pop up on my flank resulting in a 1v1 or 1v2 which couldve been an easily won 2v1 or at least and evenly fought 2v2 if they stayed, but instead i get smashed or engage in a 1v1 where its difficult to hold the node and could lose. And even if no enemies show up we still would have a bigger impact as 2 people entering the next battle together, especially with a called target

Are you joking? The game isnt different in hotjoins. Sitting on empty points with more than 1 screws others in your team. Others that try to cap that second point that you need to gain a point advantage.
So while you sit on an empty homepoint with 3, 2 of your teammates are forced to defend middle vs 4 players.

You have a really selfish way of thinking my friend. Conquest is a numbers game. Lets say you need 2 to kill that single incoming enemy. You have to keep in mind that your team is 3 vs 4 on the rest of map while you do that. So while you feel safe and cozy youre actually screwing the rest of your team.
Which doesnt mean that people shouldnt help and rotate, but only when possible and needed. Ive seen plenty of examples in rated games even where 3 ppl where trying to kill a single decap engie at home for example…..meanwhile mid is getting crushed since there are 2 ppl forced to defend vs 4.
