Please don't forget us Solo Qers
Anet is still tryharding to get their game into a cesspool known as esports and playing with your own team is a foundation of every esport game
so logically they will continue to allow full premades to kitten all over soloq since that is oh so fun for the premades

The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
Drop the tinfoil hats boys. Soloq is just a bad system for team games, compared to dynamic queues. Even LoL dropped it.
I’d rather not have a soloq, especially with the new improvements coming to the League system. After a while all the top team will rank up because of the win streak.
Already quit PvP. Just log in here and there to troll.
Anet has forgotten the basic rules of game design. Don’t punish players for the designer’s mistakes. Leagues as implemented in season 1 has done that. And season 2 will be no different.
According to the recent Dev thread. Season 2 will rank groups by highest division. Meaning if one Diamond queues up with four Ambers. They’ll be facing five Diamonds.
Considering how groups are already weighed in with the current system. I don’t see how the solo queue experience needs additional rewards for queue’ing up as an individual.

Not added rewards…. Protection. Solo Q needs to not be matched against premades. It’s common sense and used to be in game.
Unlucky since launch, RNG isn’t random

5 premade diamond players on voice chat and with clearly defined roles are going to perform far better as a team than 5 random soloq diamond players, thats the point of that topic
premades should be matched against premades but i honestly cant see that happening

This ^.
Protection. I’m saying that people shouldn’t just lose pips left and right because premades are going to most of the time stomp all over your randoms. Also wins against premades when solo Q’ing should provide additional pips because they were at a severe disadvantage. Solo Qers shouldn’t get shafted because they can’t be bothered to seperate the two leagues. Every game does it for good reason, why A-Net hasn’t is beyond me.
There isn’t a large enough population of PvPers in GW2. So unless you want to increase your already long queue times, I wouldn’t separate team queue and solo queue and I don’t think Anet should. Just learn a couple more classes and builds so you can swap out in order to improve your solo queue composition.
Stormbluff Isle
Drop the tinfoil hats boys.
So you can put yours on?
We can do hot join if soloq is ‘broken’ and will be fixed this way (ahem).
Clearly the only ones benefiting now are coordinated team who use smurfs for quick wins, oh sorry reduce queue times. Stomping someone is better than waiting for a decent game after all.

That’s not “tin foil hat” that’s exactly what they are trying to do, use common sense and logic. Solo Q is a great system for games like Guild wars 2. What is logically good about Premades farming random players? There is no skill or competitive play being created with a non Solo Q system in place. A System with Premade vs premade and solo q vs solo q is a far healthier environment that promotes more competition.
The fact is the Spvp population is low compared to other game modes, not to mention this game’s majority playerbase are casual players, this is a MMO not a Moba, stop comparing with other game genres, it’s irrelevant.
So sick and tired of people who have no clue what they are talking about, trying to compare different genre’s to this games MMO genre, aka stop bringing up “league of legends” and how Riot conducts business on their MOBA product.

Bump. Yes sPvP population is low, but telling everyone either to team queue or lose is NOT how it should work.
A lot of people are good only in 1-2 professions and it defines them, getting dumped into a game where 3 of the players are the same profession vs a well composited team shouldn’t be punishment.
I’ve wanted solo queue back since they removed it but I get the feeling that they’re still far more inclined to focus on reiterating their matchmaking system than split queues.
Anet hasn’t forgotten about solo queuers, we’re used as bait to allow team queues to pop quicker and also to farm us.
