I am lvl 42 and today the first time after patch i’ve tried spvp and in 10 unranked games i have only gained 1 and from those only 2 games i’ve felt were balanced. 4 of those were against full coordinated teams.
I think something is wrong here….
Btw, i was queing with only a friend.

I feel the first step is fixing the team swapping. Tired of people switching to spectator, forcing a jump, and then rejoining the game on the winning side.

Yes, this is a solid solution, I agree.

But I feel the issue doesn’t really need to be one of environment, in that there is no real reason to not implement a team-swapping fix in hotjoins.

Well of course your first games will be unbalanced because the system doesn’t have any data about you yet, so it doesn’t know which opponents to pair you against.

Not saying that the current matchmaking system is perfect (far from it!) but under any matchmaking system you’ll need to do quite some rounds for the system to be able to predict your skill/rank.
