I don’t have a pvp tab in my hero pane or on the top left of my screen. I would really appreciate help getting to Heart of the mists

Hello! You need to finish the tutorial (which is like the first quest you get as soon as you create your character). Then, you will have the tab.

top left of the screen 2 crossed swords. don’t u have them?

Wait…what? So if I do the tutorial on my ele and make a new guard I should have the tab without completing the guardian’s tutorial? If so, then it’s not working.

You have to do the tutorial for any character you make. Only takes a few minutes, but basically you can only get into PVP if your level 2 (I know theres ways around it before anyone states it!)

That’s why I’m looking for clarification. If it SHOULD be the way Evan says it should be, then it is not working.

I think it was just the way he answered kinda works for both answers is all. But yeah, any char can PVP, as long as they get past the tutorial for that char.

So you make a warrior, get past tutorial, then you can PVP

You then make a ranger, you then need to do the tutorial for him as well to play him in pvp.

Side note; If you wish to keep your chars as level 1s for pvp (some people do), just dont accept the tutorial mission reward and you wont level up.

maybe i’m mistaken here, but i think it’s just a personal list of Evan Lesh (if that list even exists, it’s possible it was just a figure of speech). not one of the SPvP team or even the entirety of Anet.
