I have been playing for over a year now and would just like to say that I am embarrassed a lot by these forums…I understand that there are a lot of justified reasons for people to be upset but at the same time some people feel the need to Qq about everything…so please read these words.

Stop your Qqing because YOU are the reason why people don’t want to play pvp. No one wants to play with a bunch of cry babies. I would rather take my toys and go home.

If your dieing by being pulled on skyhammer guess what… You were standing in the wrong spot. It’s called positioning.. Learn about it.
Decap engie got you by the balls? It’s called communication…use it?
Hambow warrior eating you up?? I dunno use some power damage?

People get angry when they die, but guess what that is just part of the game…there will always be someone better than you or a spec that counters yours…that doesn’t make it OP.

The only legitimate complaints in my opinion as of right now are:
Hambow warriors
Skyhammer being in rotation for anything other than hot join.
The lack of game modes in pvp.
I could also rant a little about how the top players seem to be very clicky, unwilling to help new players, or accept new people into their “click”. I think that as a community their are a lot of things people could do to inform new players and also maybe teach them something? It would go a long way imo

lol most of the high rated players are harsher on the game than these forums. Most lol at how braindead and OP certain specs are (those that don’t just quit).

That is why there about about 15-20 people who try-hard in the game and the other 1000 who want to try-hard just mess around.

No nothing like that…I just know that in life if you cry like a kitten you get treated like one. I would also like to point out that it said there were legitimate cries… But for the most part people are just crying because they can.

However, I keep saying this: balance isn’t the main problem, the dumbness of top builds is.

if you don’t like the QQ don’t blame the QQers, don’t blame the braindead morons with the builds that might aswell play themselves.

it is their sheer neglect for balance which has left pvp as the cesspool of vile builds we currently have,
hambow for example has been in its current state for 6 months.

You’re complaining that we’re complaining. If you don’t understand us, then you haven’t really followed the scene. What I do agree with, that people should keep it civil. Even though that’s very hard at times. Why? Potential – prerelease hype.

I guess you’re right, GW2 doesn’t need any help getting players to leave… it seems to be good enough at that all on its own.

This game actually had a pretty stellar community a year ago… it’s just when any game starts to die the good people widdle away. Do you seriously expect the community of a game that hemorrhaged a few MILLION players to be good?
Few sensible people will stick through the kitten Anet has thrown at this game… a half finished game, a constantly worsening meta, bad maps, one map type, near entirely unsocial game…

I mean, you can blame the community, that it’s their fault for not enjoying the content Anet is putting out for them… but that’s less likely to change anything than blaming Anet… having a good community again is entirely in their hands.

I agree with you that Anet had faultered. But people are already complaining about things in the feature pack when it hadn’t even been released or tested by the community. That tells me that people are just in general looking for reasons to complain, instead of using facts they are using theory and letting their emotions get the best of them.
To be honest, my expectations for this upcoming patch are low, therefore you probably won’t see me on here creating a thread kittening, because I didn’t fall for the hype. I will wait for the facts to come out before I come in here crying.
I would also like to point out that most of the people who complain about other classes, have never actually played the class they complain about. So, how can you have an honest opinion about something if you’ve never atleast tested it yourself? They come on here and read what others write ( wether it’s right or wrong) and spew it through out the community.
My point on this thread was not to get people kittened, it was to point out that a lot of the unhappiness with this game is self inflicted, and that needs to change.

Because when it is released nothing will change.
Anet NEVER goes back on things after they implement them and they NEVER let players test things before puting them in patch notes.

So, I mean, there really isn’t any other option.

One of the points of “QQing” about a feature patch that hasn’t come out yet is to PREVENT ANET from implementing a system that a good chunk of the PVP players do NOT want. There are some things that you don’t need to experience first hand to know that you won’t like.

Go look at how ANET at first decided to remove ranks but the community complained and so ANET changed their minds. It doesn’t always work but never speaking your mind will definitely never change things.

Just because you’re fine with things doesn’t mean others can’t voice their concerns about issues. This thread is far more useless than any QQ thread out there.

Actually I’ve won tournamnets in GW2, and stream GW2, made money from GW2. Lol and dude is right you have no understanding of this game. Think about me as a king and you a filthy peasant who scrubs my toilet when comparing each other to this game.
