A jolly good point, but how many of these episodes have actually given us straight talking facts on what we can expect? Not many…

Speaking of carrots, I was wholly disappointed that Festival Tokens weren’t being handed out in PvP and that we didn’t get a “Festival Reward Track”. The whole thing we were being sold on was that PvP was going to stay meta with the rewards system and it looks like a thought hasn’t been given to it since.

The whole point of a growing game world doesn’t stop at PvE. It should extend to PvP as well. Mix it up and keep the reward tracks coming.

The festival is a living story event its not main content it is made for you to go do it not for you to get the rewards from doing something else. That being said not giving the tokens was strange but the WvW drop rate of them is abysmal anyways.

“hinting” is the issue, i think we need more confirmation than ooh thats a good idea personally.

Wildstar is made also by ncsoft, thus noone cares, if they still keep bringing the moneyz to company. Also about the “hinting” thing:

They have been hinting things they will develop for almost 2 years now. Look at how many things they gave us and then thing about the value of these “hints”.

You’re right, I’m losing interest because of the lack of future PVP prospects. A carrot would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure I’m not the only one losing interest.

^ this, if you really need them to then they might give you the spiel of “very exciting stuff that is coming soon!”, pretty much the same regurgitated banter they’ve coasted on for nearly 2 years without actually releasing much content or many noticeable balance updates.

Remove all rewards plz. I tired of people that can’t do anything, but farm glory on arenas. Current state of PvP is worst since start of the game.

Serious team queue incentive+ladders=bingo

Genuinely do not want a carrot. Carrots bring people back for a week at the most.

Look at balance, look at game modes, look at diversity. There’s no point giving out shiny rewards if people aren’t having genuine fun right now.

I can tell you, it’s not fun playing in a meta with extremely narrow build diversity which is overrun by the trashiest specs and mechanics where your options are join the cheese or accept the fact that your preferred spec might be lightyears away from the strength of meta builds. Some gimmicky reward isn’t going to change that.

In the fast food style of our current society, it is common for friends to leave the old stuff and try for the new one, it’s totally understandable.

I’d say just leave them be and when they get tired of Wild Star, they may or may not eventually come back. There’s nothing you can do to stop fast food people from running to new stuffs and ditch the old, nothing.
