Guild Wars 2

I wonder if there is any reason why ranks are only shown at the end of a round? I dont see any disadvantage if it would be shown all the time.
What was the intention of this decision? Any ideas?

most likely so that pug groups don’t instantly go afk when oposing a high rank oponent im guesing

ouh Doku, but yeah i guess it keeps some intrigue so at the end you get surprised- kitten they are so low we sucked or damn they are 40+ we owned…. etc.

btw you can figure out rank from what they’re wearing…not from titles, because high ranked ppl many times put on lower titles (I usually put mercenary or just nothing) but they’re too lazy to change armor and weapons too
